World’s Largest Piece of Gold Found

The Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico recently announced the discovery of one of the largest single crystal pieces of gold ever found. Weighing in at 217.78 grams, the size of a golf ball, it is estimated to be worth $10,000 but due to its size the crystal could retail up to 1.5 million.
The crystal was retrieved from an Ohio scientist who obtained it from an U.S collector who had the crystal in his possession for decades. The U.S collector reported that he found the crystal Venezuela while on an exploratory trip one day.
